Growing up I read lots of books, watched lots of movies, and watched more than a few TV shows. I immersed myself in a world of storytelling - some might argue my time would have been better spent doing homework; I like to remove those kinds of  people from my life. 

Out of this interest, I chose to pursue a degree in film (digital cinematography). 

In obtaining that degree, I learned the proverbial ropes of the film industry, from pre-production to post-production. 

I enjoy spending long hours generating story ideas, writing interesting dialogue, and planning out awesome (to me) shots. I guess what I’m saying is - I really like daydreaming. 

I discovered that I also like getting lost in the process of editing footage; I tend to fall into a state of flow. I love that flow state. It’s the same reason I like running long distances.
